For as long as I can recall I have had a passion to learn new skills in both my professional and personal life. I enjoy finding ways to apply these skills to benefit or bring enjoyment to others.

During my 20’s I began to learn woodworking skills, having made furniture and other pieces for family and friends. I enjoyed the process of taking a stack of wood and creating a piece for our home or to give as a gift.

As I began the transition from a 30 year professional career, I wanted to start a new chapter. One that included past interests like woodworking while continuing to learn new things. The past couple of years have allowed me the opportunity to explore other creative arts. This includes painting with acrylics, colored pencil drawing, collage, and sculpting.

At this stage in my artistic journey, my artwork often depicts realistic images. I enjoy painting landscapes, particularly from places my family and I have visited. While landscape paintings are enjoyable I seek opportunities to be exposed to different styles and mediums. I am continuing to develop my own style.
